CARES is a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme created in the spirit of Singapore’s National Day. How the CARES Programme Works
1. Packing Bags of Love

This hands-on activity fosters teamwork while reminding volunteers that even small actions can make a meaningful difference.
2. Community Pick-Up & Connection
Volunteers then partner with Residential Committees (RCs) or Senior Service Centres within the community. Seniors are invited to drop by to collect their bag of love in a warm, welcoming environment.
At the same time, corporate teams may:
- Organise a simple lunch pack giveaway
- Sit and chat with seniors
- Listen to their stories and life experiences
- Learn more about their current needs or concerns
Sometimes, the greatest gift is not what’s in the bag—but the time spent listening.
3. Home Visits for Less Mobile Seniors
For seniors who are less mobile or homebound, volunteers can take part in door-to-door visits, delivering essential items directly to their homes.
These visits are carried out with respect and sensitivity, offering reassurance, companionship, and a human touch to seniors who may rarely receive visitors.
